Well I guess it is mainly for me to keep me more accountable. I’m not good at just paper journals, but knowing that someone else might be reading seems to be encouraging me lately to voice my thoughts. Most therapists and self help books say that writing in journal is a good way to get out of your head and process things.
I battle anxiety/depression and it can drown me at most times. I feel like I’m in a state of “mostly cloudy” with turbulent “thunderstorms.” Sometimes I shine my sunny self and break free of my personal clouds. But they always manage to come back. I want to achieve my personal paradise where the weather is practically sunny all the time.
Life will always give you a few clouds or rainstorms, but I NEED more sunshine than I’m getting right now.
